Goals and Purpose of the Guanlan Scholarship
One Girl, One Village at a Time --- Many Families, Many Generations
To change the life prospects of poor village girls in remote China so they may flourish and give back to their community by awarding scholarships for K-12 schooling.
To award scholarships to girls who qualify for one year at a time. The funds cover at least half of the required school fees or tuition.
To cooperate with our local partner NGO which qualifies up to 10 new recipients by conducting annual family visits.
To curate information on the progress of the scholarship participants annually and produce reports of impact.
